Really enjoyed our two night stay here despite the rain. Our room was very luxurious (Grand Suite) and we were made to feel very welcome by Tracey (the owner). Good selection on breakfast menu and this was cooked to order. Nearby restaurants in Canford Cliffs were within a short distance and offered a variety of evening cuisine. This boutique hotel... more

We stayed there just for 1 night with our 14 year old son. My wife and I stayed in the Grand Suite , which was a beautifuly decorated room complete with very nice bathroom/wet room. Tracey, the owner made us feel very welcome and was eager to provide us with any information we asked for regarding the surrounding area. The... more

Noisy room we could hear the boiler beep all night mineral bottles re filled with tap water, the breakfast was not even edible our ground floor room seemed to be a converted garage complete with washing machines and a beeping boiler its not what you would expect from a luxury B&B. Shame it all looked so nice on the website! more

My husband and I (in our 40s) stayed in the Grand Suite as the first night of a week's break around the South and London and it was the perfect start to the week . The room was huge with underfloor heating (really warm and cosy), great subtle lighting and the duvet was decorated with fresh rose petals - so... more

A collegue of mine recommended this beautiful boutique style hotel to us. After reading mixed opinions from prevoius travellers i was not sure what to expect. All I can say is WOW ! Those who are expecting a huge 5 star hoel should stay away. The decor is awesome, the very friendly service, the honesty bar etc makes this one... more

Booked the suite - thought at the time it was rather expensive, but thought it might be something special. Yes - it was very tastefully decorated and quite spacious, first impressions good - BUT - a thin sheet covered a heavily stained mattress, no mattress protector - a really badly stained pillow with just a pillowcase - thick dust on... more

Stayed for 2 nights at £ 240 per night, room OK, but bathroom very, very small, and not practical, no towel rails or shelves for anything, used towels twice for showers, and could not dry them, so put them on floor for changing on 2nd day, but did not get changed just folded up and put on side, so we... more

This B&B ranks up there with some of the best places I've ever stayed. The location was spot on with just a short walk from the waterside and from the lovely beach at Sandbanks. The drive down to the Quayside was short and simple which made hopping around Poole ever so easy. We stayed in "The Kings Room" and I... more

This was our second visit to the Luminiere & will certainly not be our last. We sampled 2 fantastic rooms in our 3 night stay, Crazy Gold & The Hideaway both of which had their own unique elegant style. Even at one of the busiest times of the year nothing seemed to be too much trouble, even finding time to... more

Whatever you do, avoid the Kings room on Ground floor. The hallway and upstairs rooms have wooden floors and no carpet or sound proofing. There is no one on site to help when it is needed. The place is not manned except for check in (some times) and check out. If you are in the kings room - people just... more
