This hotel is in a nice location but could do with some modernistaion and refurbishment, it is let down by looking rather old and run down it it's decor; The walls, floor and sofa in the room were particularly suffering in this respect. This is a 3-star hotel so we did not expect 5-star accommodation and facilities. We upgraded to a sea view room and it was well worth it; views from the second floor are superb. hotel is in a lovely position on the Quay at Poole-walking distance to all the restaurants and the shopping centre.
