Hotel Du Vin never lets us down, we have stayed in 6 different "Du Vin's" and have never had a bad stay.. Poole is another fantastic Hotel Du Vin, great service, great food, lovely decor, Fantastic wines.. We actually left our stay in Moonfleet Manor in Weymouth early because we were not happy with the hotel or service to go... more

My short stay at the Hotel du Vin was excellent, we stayed in a lovely room called "The Grange" which had a good size and a lot of attention ti deatil. Lovely rain-shower and the bath tub in the bed room - nice touch! Also used the restaurant and had an excellent steak. Staff is very friendly. more

We had stayed here regularly when it was the Mansion House and loved it's character and quality so looked forward to seeing it after the refurbishment. It got off to a good start with the valet parking but we were not told it cost £8 per day until we checked out. Our room was in the old building where we... more

- well of the ones I've stayed in (Henley and York). The trademark stylish rooms, wonderful beds, TV/DVD and fantastic showers are all here and in good condition as you would expect. But so far this HDV has had the best service - someone appeared by magic to help with bags and park the car (valet parking is £8 and... more

Stayed for one night, before travelling to Cherbourg. Very near the car ferry terminal. Had a great room, very quiet with a massive wet room. Staff were so helpful. Much better than the hotel du vin in Brighton. Will stay here again. more

Another great HdV. We had a great room (we were upgraded for a special occasion) at the top of the hotel. Great dinner in the Brasserie which was really bustling. Fantastic service. more

Having stayed at a different Hotel du Vin before, we thought we would make a weekend of visiting the Dorset coast and stay at the Poole branch. The hotel is located just off the old quay down a narrow side street. Not knowing where to park, we were greeted by a valet who parked the car for us in the... more

Just back from a one night stay over the bank holiday. The hotel is well located, just enough back from the main high street/quay which was very busy (but it was a bank holiday) but a short stroll from all the bars/restaurants in the area. Parking was a little difficult as the spaces are limited - had to park away... more

We happend across this Hotel after arriving in Poole at 5.30pm booked into another place which was so dire we refused to stay there and had to find something quick. We walked past the Hotel du Vin as it looked far too 'posh' and way out of our league. The reception staff however were more than welcoming and said they... more

The decision to stay at Hotel du Vin Poole was a last minute one, partly based on seeing it on TV rated as one of the World's 70 finest hotels. The hotel's own website provides a whole range of offers, choose which one suits you best.First impressions count and this one will not disappoint. It's a very imposing townhouse in... more
