We stayed at Danecourt Lodge over New Year and I have to say we were not disappointed. The owners Pat and Ron made us feel immediately at home with a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with a large ensuite bathroom, with jacuzzi and separate shower. Everything we needed was supplied and more. There... More

This guest house was recommended by another guest house owner who was unable to accomodate us. We took this as high praise and were not disappointed. We stayed at Danecourt Lodge for 3 nights and liked it so much that we stayed again with my parents the following week. The rooms are of a good size for a B&B and... More

Not even the horrible West Country winter weather could dampen the warm and lovely welcome from Pat, the owner, on arrival at Danecourt Lodge in Poole. We stayed one night in a really comfy cosy room with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, casual and friendly but really good and a relaxing start to the day. Thank you and see... More

My husband chose this place based on reviews and I have to say we were disappointed. Positives first - quiet location and clean The house itself is nothing special - we like to stay in places with "character." The bright blue carpet was off-putting. We were also put off by having to remove our shoes, not being able to eat... More

You will have to go a very long way to find a better B & B than this. You are greeted with a very warm welcome from Pat and the rooms are and absolute delight. Exceptionally clean, bright and comfortable. There is also a plentiful supply of tourist and local amenities information available, in fact everything that that you would... More

We spent two nights at this B&B. Pat gave us a very friendly welcome. She was extremely helpful in suggesting places to walk & somewhere to eat in the evenings. The room was very clean & extremely comfortable with a lovely view over her beautiful garden. There was a very good choice for breakfast & her speciality smoked salmon, scrambled egg... More

We stayed at Danecourt Lodge for a week in July and what a find it was. It is situated in a quiet location, five minutes walk from beautiful Poole Park and a twenty minute walk to the centre of Poole and the quay / harbour. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Danecourt Lodge is a beautiful... More

An excellent hostess- made us feel very comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic surroundings, spotlessly clean, beautiful garden. Close to all amenities and a lovely park near by to relax or for those wishing to continue their fitness whilst on a break. Breakfast was fantastic! We recommend The Cow for dinner nearby, Jazz Cafe for lunch by the sea... More

This was our second visit to Danecourt Lodge and once again we were made to feel very welcome and the standards maintained by Pat and Ron are exceptionally high. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, which is a number one priority when suffering from a bad back. The delicious breakfast kept us going until early evening.... More
