This hotel only provides value for money if you book in advance. This branch of Holiday Inn is named Leeds-Wakefield. It is about 10 miles from Leeds city centre, but it is very conveniently located off the M1, ideal location to visit Leeds if you travel by car. I picked this location after reading on Tripadvisor how some hotels in... more

Tried other low budget hotel chain accommodation before and was impressed. compared to most.Twin /double room was large, clean and own control over heating. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food nice but not cheap. Location good for motorway and just a short trip from towns. more

Just completed our fourth stay here this weekend - the staff could not be more warm or friendly and the dogs get thoroughly spoiled!!! We stay here whilst visiting family in the area. The welcome could not be warmer nor more helpful. The rooms we are given are always spotlessly clean. As they say it is all in the location... more

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting family. It could not be described as having atmosphere being a modern box. It is close to the motorway so very easy to find, but we were not aware of any noise from the motorway. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and arranged to move our room when we discovered a problem... more

Check in was unhelpful; the receptionaist showed me the wrong way to my room!!! When i got to my bedroom i was dissapointed as it felt dirty and dark. Dinner and breakfast were unimpressive both on food and service side. On check out they tried to charge me for a film that i hadnt watched, then realised they had posted... more

Ok hotel, reasonable room but carpet showing signs of scruffynessand dirt under the bed etc. Basic bathroom, shower not really functioning too well. Only there one night so didn't complain. Breakfast poor . Starts at 6.30 which is good but it clearly been done hurs before. The great test (scrambled egg) was like rubber. wholly inedible. After being seated and... more

I have just stayed one night at this hotel for business and I have to say I think the standard for holiday inn has gone downhill. When I heard I would be staying here I was quite looking forward to it but sadly was left feeling a little disappointed and a bit let down by what I expected to be... more

I stayed for one night. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside. It is in a quiet location close to the M1 motorway. Got a standard room on the ground floor. The view was of the car park so not great. However, the room was a decent size, clean, modern, and everything worked. I got a reasonable meal from... more

We really enjoyed our stay. The room, the bedding and the bathroom all lovely and clean. There was an iron and a trouser press which we didnt use as we had brought our own but we will know about in the future. The bed was comfortable and our little girl was asleep within seconds of touching the pillow. It was... more
