We've stayed at the Northbound travelodge Woolley Edge a few times this year, and it's excellent value. The cheapest rate we've had so far is £19 for a family room, which is outstanding value. The staff are always helpful, rooms are clean with everything you need for an overnight. The beds are VERY comfortable and rooms are quiet considering location.... more

We stayed here overnight on our way home to scotland. Typical Travelodge. Comfy bed, mainly clean and staff were helpful. Only downside was the water pressure in the shower. more

Stayed at Travelodge, Woolley Edge on the northbound cariageway of the M1. Booked through the travelodge website, got £29 room. Good value. Basic room, with comfortable bed. Coffee in room, and tv with a few channels. Next door to service station, which included a burger king (with the most miserable member of staff I've ever come across) This travelodge does... more

Very good place to stay in the road! We get the last room, but is a very very good room. After a long time driving, have better than one big and confortable bed, and a good shower. I recommend to any peopleo driving to scotland, but, don't wait to stop, because, soon after the dark all the hotels stay full. more

We stayed here for 3 days. I went paintballing and the wife went shopping in Sheffield (I dropped her off in Barnsley and she got a train there). The rooms are spacious and clean, you have a TV, en suite bathroom and coffee making facilities. They even gave you vouchers to use in the service station restaurants, which we did... more

We got caught on the road without a room and this Travelodge really baled us out. The room is basic but had everything you need. You cannot argue with the value - all rooms were 50 Pounds even though we had our daughter with us. If you need a clean room, are getting in late, this place was fine. They... more
