I work in big posh hotels, so I didn't have very high expectations of a little guesthouse like Stanley View, but I couldn't fault it. The staff were very busy trying to do ten different jobs at once, but they were still very attentive and happy to help. I went down to the restaurant to see if I could get something for dinner, and boy do they know how to feed you up north! It was only a fish & chips but it could have kept me going for a week. The room and facilities were basic, but I couldn't fault anything, I got a good nights sleep and woke up without any flea bites, what more could one ask for? more
