Took my partner here for his 40th birthday. Just wanted somewhere 'away from it all' to spend some quality time and relax. I always try to look for somewhere close to a pub as we can then both enjoy a drink with neither of us needing to drive. Couldn't have chosen better when we hit upon this when browsing the net. The two cottages are self contained and the cottage we stayed in was clean and tidy with a spacious bathroom, bath big enough for two, plentiful complimentary shampoo, shower gel etc . Lovely white fluffy towels. Overall a very nice place to stay. The cottage was very tastefully decorated with nice antique pieces but done in a comtemporary way so no nasty chintz. Definitely to our taste. Within driving distance of Taunton and several cider shops (if you're like us and like that sort of thing!) The cottage has a small kitchen area so offers a sort of 'DIY' continental breakfast included in the price - so basically you get a welcome pack of bread, fruit, yoghurts, cereals... more
