Was greeted with smiles and the staff allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in time. There was a relaxed atmosphere and we slept well on comfortable beds. Breakfast was a nice selection to suit anyone and the cooked breakfast was ideal. This was our second stay and we would recommend this hotel to all.

After reading all the positive reviews I a little disappointed as i thought we were choosing the best hotel in town. Stayed here for two nights in early May. Lovely big bedroom. Hotel clean and comfortable, and just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Taunton. We did not have occasion to use the little bar downstairs. While fruit and juices were on display 'buffet style' at breakfast, hot food was cooked to order which is always a treat.

Stayed in a 'Superior' room for the same price as a standard, on a Monday night. The room had a 4 poster bed!! Lovely. Not many staff, but the two I saw were helpful and friendly. One negative was that room service food orders closed at 8pm. Which seemed early. Central location for the town centre. supermarket across the road.
