Have stayed in many travelodges over the years and they are all very much the same, from the furniture to the colours to the standard. Basic but clean economy rooms. This one isn't to that standard Ripped curtains, scuffed dirty walls, mould in the shower. Old sagging noisy mattress and broken bedside light. Reception looks good , but rooms are... More

Off to Birmingham to meet up with some friends from University. We found this place which was close to Sutton and a train into town. Really good stuff - staff very helpful and very handily placed for the Brewers Fayre for a really good breakfast. More

The staff at this hotel should be commended for the support and help they gave late at night on Saturday 15th of October 2011 because if it wasn't for them our party would not have had accommodation, depite advance booking into Birmingham Central Travelodge. Firstly we'd been sent after overbooking occured from Birmingham central, whose staff were absolutely useless, lacking... More

Stayed there one night in September 2011. Booked a double room. Here are some of the issues. Website for this travelodge says that family rooms do not have a bath. However neither do doubles. Only one large and one one small towel, disposable cups like you get at cold water dispensers in offices, no soap of any kind in bathroom,... More

As we were coming to visit my brother and his family, we needed a place to sleep in. Travelodge streetly was just around the corner, making it top location for us. It's a small plane motel, providing small clean rooms at a very low rate. The staff was friendly and helpful. More

I spent two nights at this Travelodge and found it to be very good. I enjoyed the carvery spread at The Toby Carvery, across the car park, which is very reasonable if you get there before 7. More

Single glazed windows mean the road noise is loud even above the tv. No phone in room, my room didn't have a bath which disappointed me - suppose I should have requested one. Shower perfectly serviceable albeit ancient. Room clean and tidy, no cigarette smells! Check in slow, woman on desk miserable; recited her script, nothing more nothing less, slightly... More

Quite a strange Travelodge in that there are two different buildings separated by a pub! We were put in the building that simply had no security or reception. The main door was broken so anyone (drunken punters from the pub right next door!) could access the buildling. Major lack in security or customer service. The room was a bit grubby... More

THIS IS NOW A TRAVEL LODGE - A Pleasant one! My wife and I stayed here for one night, having booked the previous night into the Boldmere Road Travel Lodge, 2 miles away. No comparison, I`d stay here again! Nice and clean, comfortable and nice surroundings. The Lodge accommodation is on two levels with a Toby Inn and large car... More

Not worth the money however cheap the price. Its advertised as including breakfast but your not told its one of those awful plastic breakfast bags dreamt up by Travelodge who now own and operate this hotel. The room stank of stale cigarrette smoke and as the hotel filled up with "white van men" the reason become obvious-the no smoking policy... More
