Friendly and very hospitable from mine hosts; a home from home environment. The local (2) pubs in Ufford offer good and fair priced food. The village is quintessential England at its best, with Stamford on its doorstep more

Enjoyed a great welcome.The hostess was friendly,chatty and extremely helpful.The bedroom overlooked the fields and was well decorated with beautiful pictures and furniture.Enjoyed a large private bathroom and shared(with one bedroom although vacant) a kitchen area(so you could eat in if wanted with a takeaway or use the halogen oven or microwave.).Also had a beautiful lounge with videos and plenty... more

Loved it here so much we stayed an extra night. Jilly and Michael were incredibly welcoming. The room was stunning with excellent facilities including access to a small kitchen and guest lounge room with lovely books and games and view of countryside. Jilly and Michael welcomed us into their home - unfortunately just for the one night. This is a superbly comfortable b&b. Excellent quality beds, scrupulously clean, very well equipped., with great facilities. A really nice b&b located in a quite village (Barnack) 5 mins drive from Stamford. Run by a very friendly couple (and 2 lovely dogs!). Good bedrooms with comfortable beds with views of surrounding countryside. Local pub in village etc. Burghley House is 2 miles away. more
