We never expected such a lovely room/hospitality at the rate charged!!! We had a great time even on THE COLDESTweekend of whole of last century! Bedroom warm as toast and a welcome warmer! The Flying Scotsman was a great dish, thanks Paul. Hope to see you again soon! More

We found this gem of a place through reviews on tripadvisor & hoped that it lived up to the glowing reports. We can honestly say, that it certainly did not disappoint! The room was very comfortable & cosy & the food was exceptionally good. Even though on one morning there was just the 2 of us for breakfast, the choice... More

We have stayed here for a number of years on the trot. We also stayed when the previous owners where there. Paul and Wendy are fantastic hosts, you could not wish for better people. Also the food is excellent thanks to Paul the superb chef. We do not believe you could get better food anywhere. The hotel is not central... More

Just a quick note to let anyone out there thinking of a weekend or longer in Skegness that this is the place to go. We have returned from an overnight trip to Skegness to see Steve Harley - amazing concert, my first one in many years and he is better now - truly brilliant. We stayed at Caxton House in... More

We had stayed at Caxton House before but only for a weekend. We were really surprised that Wendy remembered us. The welcome you get is second to none. The location of the B&B isn't central but this does mean you are in a quieter area. We stayed in the balcony room and found it suited us exactly. Great view of... More

We stayed with Paul and Wendy for a week and had a really marvellous week, relaxing, enjoying the amazing food and exceptional hospitality. My husband loved the Caxton breakfasts complete with Lincolnshire potato cakes and all locally sourced food and home cooked bread. What a gastronomic delight were the evening meals, not often you get a chef from Lloyds of... More

I stayed here with family for a weekend back in September. I work in a budget hotel, so you could say I know bland, and this lovely place definately isn't bland! From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and relaxed. Wendy and Paul were fantastic hosts, from Paul's delicious meals to their very own version of Monopoly. 'Skeggyopoly' (not... More

Ideal base for a golfers weekend at Seacroft, Sandilands and North Shore. We arrived Friday a.m. & were warmly welcomed by Wendy and Paul. All the bedrooms were very clean, all the beds reported as very comfortable. Breakfast was comprehensive & probably the best we have had in the UK.There is adequate parking and just 8 minutes stroll to the... More
