Well where do you start!! As a gay man, his partner and their dog (which this was the only hotel we found that would accomdate pets, but again didnt state it was "gay friendly" like others did,) Well Yes there was no complaints with the staff management or food. On the other hand clenliness hygene and noise was another matter.... more
when we arrived at the hotel it felt homely as soon as you walked through the door, the staff are really friendly and nothing was to much trouble, when the manager found out it was my wifes birthday she went and brought her a cake and card from all the staff, it really made her day, i would recommend this... more
My sister and i stayed for two nights at the Links.We were made very welcome by the friendly staff.We had two single rooms,which were very clean and comfy with everything we needed.We had our two evenibg meals in the resturanf which was brilliant service was good again staff very friendly and such good value.The chef was top class.Thanks Sarah and... more
could do with decorating everywhere not that clean inside rooms smelt of damp, the owner wasnt up in time for breakfast, total shambles had to go elsewhere for breakfast. table wear was dirty i would not reccommend this place to anyone. they need a total revamp and needs some sort of staff training miserable people dont waste your money staying... more
moved from a noisy room, to one which had a smell of sewage, had a long wait for meals,when complained, had £5 knocked off bill. nice way to spend your birthday more
Had a 3 night break, owners and staff were really nice, nothing too much trouble, Food was really nice and good value too. Room was clean and nicely decorated - the bar was great at night for a drink and a chat. would recommend to anyone. more
Booked one night on buisness knew had made a mistake as soon as i got the damp dirt smell of the room . Room had no mirrow no bin no chair and without doubt was dirty. Bathroom had filthy mirrow you could not see in and bath coverd in black dirty bits.For the first time in 40 years as a... more
My partner booked the Links for my birthday and we stayed for 3 nights. Lovely family run hotel/B&B. staff were friendly, breakfast was good with flexibility around times and they managed to cater for my partner's fussy eating.
