The manager appears to be on a kind of trip. Another reviewer states "extremely enthusiastic manager". I was charged £40 for a single broom cupboard with stained carpet and a bed that had seen better days. When I requested scrambled egg for breakfast the manager hit the roof! Traditional hotel close to the sandy beach, amusement arcades, theatre and town centre of Skegness. Plain and simple but very clean and comfortable rooms. En-suite facilities. Went on a cheap 4 night break. Welcomed by an extremely enthusiastic manager. The room was smallish but not cramped, and everything was clean. The staff were all friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food was simple but good and tasty and plenty of it. Public rooms are reasonably attractive and in keeping with the period of the hotel. More
