I travel extensively on business & holiday. Up until now the UK coast hotels we have endured - not enjoyed - has put us off a UK holiday. With a 6 month old newcomer long haul was not possible. The Southview was EXCELLENT. We had a superior room and everything was fine. View over the lake, power shower, cot provided,... more

My family were due to visit Southview Park Hotel for the New Year, but unfortunately had to cancel due to illness. The hotel management were very accommodating, agreeing to keep our deposit until such time we could visit. It is a very impressive hotel on the approach and certainly the best looking hotel in the area. We occupied 3 rooms... more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a night at the South View Park and I have to say that the hotel is lovely inside. It is immaculate and the room was exceptionally clean and tidy. The 'lake view' was a little over-rated, more of a pond than anything! I suppose it was better than the view of static... more

I have just come back from a 3 night stay at the hotel with my friend and our two 15 year old daughters. We had an an excellent stay and could not fault the hotel in any way. The bedrooms were great, food excellent and the staff (especially the night porter and breakfast staff) were cheerful and polite. The pool... more

I have stayed in caravans before at the site and they were very good. But I have just came back from a stay in the hotel. I have to say it lacked the simple things you get in most hotels. To be honest your better off in a caravan. I won't be going back. The service wasn't brilliant. It's quite... more

After all we are the people who really paid for the Hotel you are all staying in through our ground rates and other various charges which are above any other park in the area. If you have a verandah to your room, please dress decently when you go out on it, This is a family site and the sight of... more

My parents bought us a gift voucher to stay at the Southview Leisure Hotel, so we decided to take advantage of it and booked to stay 1 night over the Christmas period. As we went as a family of 4, we had a twin room which consisted of 2 double beds. The room was very nice, but I do agree... more

We stayed in the hotel for one night only, and I have to say that I was quite disappointed, thankfully we only booked for the one night! We paid £85 for a kingsize room on the ground floor over looking the lake. The view of the lake would of been quite nice if it hadn't been 'blocked' by cars parked... more
