I was expecting much more from the Welcome Inn than we got when I booked a room. When we arrived I was surprised how basic the rooms were, there was no telephone to call reception or soap in the bathroom. We have stayed in the hotel at weekends several times. Weekend rates are good value Rooms at the car park side of the hotel; are quiet Quality of room is good Shower excellent Flat screen TV Friendly helpful staff The only thing wrong is the optional, plastic encapsulated breakfast. more

Just spent two nights here with the family, not the most picturesque location but a new hotel with lots of redeeming features beyond the lack of a view! A large, clean room with a large comfortable bed, good linen and towels, great shower, flat screen tv, and a good sofabed for the kids! Staff were all friendly and very efficient.... more
