Stayed at this B&B for three nights in Feb. The house is lovingly cared for by Janet and Ken, the owners. Beautiful decor and restored oak furniture abound. Free wifi, Lovely breakfasts with home made and organic fare, where possible. Really nice rooms, big fluffy white towels and the kind of hospitality goodies you would expect in a nice hotel. There is a guest lounge with large velvet sofas to relax in and movies to watch. Lovely garden and lots of parking. Ardleigh is a couple of miles outside Colchester and is in lovely countryside. It is well situated for the nice coastal resorts too.
This is a lovely place. Janet, the owner, is so welcoming and friendly. Hope to return in the near future. more
