Me and my family had a five day break in lodge 7. The scenery from the logde was very impressive, we enjoyed a few excursions on the lake with the rowing boat that is provided with the lodge.Our kids had a great time feeding the ducks and swans that are literally on your doorstep they must have went through about... more
Good friendly customer service, great directions to the place (no need for sat nav !). Some teenagers might find facilities quiet, however our kids enjoyed having time to play family board games, reading and the boat. They even have a chinese that delivers, couldn't ask for any more.. 10 out of 10. more

What a wonderful relaxing place, truly an ideal location for getting away and relaxing, We will without doubt return, the only problem we found was that the lodge and lake were so comfortable and peaceful we didn't want to venture far. Recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Tranquil Otter - can't find fault whatsoever! Birds and wildlife, including 2 friendly visiting ducks were lovely. Hot tub a luxurious end to the day. Loved it so much, want to return for Xmas. Julia and Tony more
