Have just arrived home from a lovely break with 3 friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. The location is perfect for a 'get-away from it all' holiday with all that's required to make it home from home. The hot tub is lovely, especially under the stars with a glass of bubbly on the side!! We had a very friendly greeting on arrival. The log cabin was very well equipped and even thought the weather was rainy & windy we had a fantastic time. The location of these lodges is amazing! Only thing that could be better is signposting the turn to the lodges from the main road, as it was very dark in the lanes and took about half an hour driving back and forth to find it! Thank you for your feedback. The reason we do not have a large sign outside is due to wanting to keep the the lodges private. Usually the direction we provide bring our guests here without any problems. But we can appreciate when its dark and you are in a new area you can miss a turning. We will take your...
This is my second stay at the tranquil otter and it was so good to go back. As soon as you walk in to the log cabin you feel relaxed. I travelled with my partner and little boy and he loved it, he loved feeding the ducks, and overlooking the lake is so lovely. Very Very peaceful and very clean.... more

Me and my family had a five day break in lodge 7. Good friendly customer service, great directions to the place (no need for sat nav !). Some teenagers might find facilities quiet, however our kids enjoyed having time to play family board games, reading and the boat. They even have a chinese that delivers, couldn't ask for any more.. 10 out of 10. more

What a wonderful relaxing place, truly an ideal location for getting away and relaxing, We will without doubt return, the only problem we found was that the lodge and lake were so comfortable and peaceful we didn't want to venture far.
