Stayed at the Green Inn at Ballater early in 2007 and confirm that the standards are still as high as ever. If this restaraunt were in London it would be Michelin Star rated. more

Wonderful stay at the "restaurant with rooms". Only 3 rooms and they over look the green in cental Ballater. Trevor and Evelyn are extremely helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed and comfortable but the atmosphere they have created makes me want to return soon. Staying anywhere else in Ballater would definately be a second choice. more

What a wonderful find, Wonderful friendly restaurant, Fantastically prepared food, although we could have used a few more veggies. Have never had asparagus cappuccino as an aperitif before! We had a wonderful few days at The Green Inn in March this year. Trevor and Evelyn are wonderful hosts and plied us with flapjacks and biscuits after a long day in the hills.
