I booked to stay at the Pinfield whilst on business in Slough, tired of the anonymity and cost of large chain hotels and was very happy with it.
The room was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable with flat-screen TV and wireless broadband available. There was a guests lounge downstairs and a dining room where breakfast was served.
But the best thing about the place was the outstanding service offered by the lovely lady who was looking after the place whilst the owners were on holiday. She really looked after me during my stay, suggested local places to eat in the evening and made me feel very at home.
Two minor points, it would be nice to have tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms and I was sorry I missed out on the cooked breakfast - but understand that this was because the owners were away.
I would certainly stay at the Pinfield Hotel again and would definately recommend it. more
