I stayed here my first night in England because of the location. First, it took me half an hour to find - no signposts and a difficult motorway connection. There were gangs of schoolchildren racing up and down the halls and loud parties in the rooms at all hours. This seems to be a popular stopover for large groups of... more

I usually stay at the Sofitel at T5 but could not get a short stay parking special so thought I would try the Travelodge, which at £50 for a night was much cheaper. I soon found out why! First of all there is limited parking and tickets must be purchased from a pay and display machine that only accepts coins.... more

We had a family room for four which was ok for the one night although we did have to request extra pillows. Some of the bedding did not appear 100% clean. We only paid £29.00 for the room but then spent an additional £60.00 at the cafe/restaurant for drinks and one course for 4 of us. The meal took an... more

Needed to spend a night near Heathrow, the hotel was less than one mile from T5 and is connected via a shuttle bus (£4 adults, kids free). Booked it online for £20 couldn't fault it, the rooms are basic but clean, the food was reasonable (given that we were a captive audience) and of OK quality, typical little chef type... more

Stayed for a night at Travelodge in June at the end of our UK trip. We arrived around 9pm from Devon in our rental car and used the Travelodge carpark (5 GBP for 24 hours, not a bad price for London). Check in wasn't a problem, obviously this place is geared up for people arriving at all hours of the... more

We booked this hotel as my mother-in-law had an early flight the following morning from T5, and we didn't want to get up at stupido'clock to drive from Norwich. The rooms were clean, very spacious, generously supplied with plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The bed was comfortable, good shower. We didn't have the breakfast, but it appeared good... more

Blimey! moan, moan, moan, i can hardly believe some of the reviews! We stayed @ the T5 Travelodge between connecting flights, in total a 9hr stay, and at around £40 found it to be very good value for money. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and as quiet as an airport hotel can be. Plenty of hot water for an early... more

I agree rather with Framilymac below. The room was comfortable, clean, *very* quiet (despite the planes) and somewhat more updated than some travelodges we have stayed in. It would have been nice to have more pillows and the children's beds were more comfortable and firmer than the double bed. But for £19 a night, who can complain? The organisation left... more

We stayed here for one night so that we could catch an early flight out of T5. For £35 I can't fault this Travelodge. Room was quiet, could hardly notices airport noise. Double bed, TV, shower, nothing more or less than you'd want. Have stayed in Travelodges before and usually find them to be a step down from other budget... more

Booked this hotel well in advnace as we were flying off to USA the next morning. Got £29 a room - bargain. Have stayed before and were yet again impressed with facilities. Why on earth people moan about this place - at the end of the day it is a Travelodge and it trries to be nothing else. Where else... more
