I stayed at Lancercombe Farm a few years ago and decided I needed a break from city life in London so I knew just where to go for the perfect getaway... Lancercombe Farm of couse. I expected it to look slightly more worn than my previoius visit but it wasn't; it was still as perfect as I had remembered. Nicola... More

We stayed two nights at Lancercombe Farm at the start of our October half term. The reviews on TripAdvisor pointed us in that direction and it certainly lived up to its reputation! Although it's close to the main road it is completely quiet...no road noise. Simon and Nicola have transformed the farm very sympathetically....the cars are parked in a courtyard... More

The house and location is every bit as idyllic as the photo suggests on their website. We were lucky enough to be the only guests so we got the guest lounge and dining room all to ourselves. But it would be an excellent place for 2 couples as you could have the whole place to yourself. It was both friendly... More

We stayed at Lancercombe farm because it was so highly rated on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly by Nicola and Simon, and we were soon provided with a home-made Devon cream tea. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We slept well, because the bed was extremely comfortable, and because Lancercombe Farm is set... More

My husband and I had a fantastic two nights' B&B here. Nicola's hospitality is excellent, providing little extras that make you feel pampered. Bed very comfortable - normally I can't sleep on the first night in a different bed, but no trouble here. Plenty of toiletries provided in the ensuite. Breakfasts beautifully presented using the farm's own produce where possible.... More

Excellant service, nothing too much trouble, very friendly & helpful.Wonderful farmhouse breakfast. Location very peacefu, pretty garden with great views. The bedroom was tastefully furnished with high quality bed linen.A nice touch was that we were offered a cup of tea & a slice of Nicola's homemade lemon drizzle cake on arrival. We can't rate this B&B highly enough More

We chose Lancercombe Farm for its location while househunting and found more than B&B. We found charming hosts; comfy beds we didn't want to get out of in the morning; breakfasts with zero food miles; homemade jams and juices; a woodburning stove aglow to welcome us back after a day of house viewing; and ...... we could go on. It... More

Our 2nd visit to Lancercombe Farm and we were again delighted with the gorgeous room and relaxing ambience. The log fire was always blazing in the guest sitting room - very cosy. Nicola's breakfasts are excellent - with their own apple juice, sausages and eggs. A very special place ..... More
