For a budget hotel it is as expected, though I wouldn't stay here for long. Breakfast was OK but they only supply the hot breakfast as and when required, hence you often have to wait for th buffet food to appear and its often cold. The location of this Travel lodge is fantastic right in the town centre with seaviews, the staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome .The building is old and has a lot of character which is really nice i have stayed here twice and will be returning again great value for money

We had absolutely no problems with our stay. The location is fantastic, there were 5 of us in two rooms, and we both got a sea view. The staff were lovely, very helpful and assisted in making our trip perfect. We didn't eat here so we couldnt comment on the food. Very happy with our stay

Basic room with sea view - meals and bar available. Friendly staff all made us welcome and saw tho all our needs. The trouble is the on street parking outside the hotel is only free from 6 pm. Add £10 per night to your budget - Meter maid out at 7 am for easy pickings!

Just spent a night here whilst walking the Cleveland Way. Great value basic hotel. Room was clean and tidy. Lovely hot water which was well received after a 20 mile hike. The venue does what it says on the tin. No frills but everything you need. Good location. Will stay here again on a budget break.
