We recently stayed at No 17 for a short break. The host made you feel very welcome from the minute you arrived. Beautiful room, very clean with a fabulous shower. Great hearty breakfast and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay and we will be going for another visit.

I stayed with my partner for one night. The room was clean and modern. Good location. The staff are friendly and approachable. The sausages at breakfast were delicious :-). Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent, friendly; 12 minutes' walk to town centre and train station. Free WiFi It was cold and snowing when I was there but the heating was on and rooms remained nice and warm. If you're staying overnight in Scarborough you should come and stay here, to see the baby boy at least.

We booked this at the last minute and were VERY pleased with our stay. We were welcomed by Andy and immediately made to feel welcome. Our room (room 2) was spotlessly clean with plenty of space and well decorated with period furniture that was characterful. The en-suite bathroom was very modern with a mains power shower rather than the usual... More

Just had a two night stay with a party of 20 friends who were doing a charity walk for Yorkshire Cancer Center, Leeds. Were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived by Andy & his family. We all felt that we were treated like friends or family rather than guests they had never met before. The hotel... More

I booked 17 West Street for 18 friends and family all there to support my husband on the final stages of his 53 mile 'North sea trail' walk in aid of the Yorkshire Cancer centre(Leeds). This place is perfect. It is in the nicest part of Scarborough. Plenty of free on road parking. There are 9 fabulous rooms, all spacious, tastefully... More
