I'm adding to my husband's review (espressoman123) to point out that not only does The Waves provide amazing facilities - it goes that bit further......We left our Satmap gps gadget behind and Kevern found it for us, promptly 'phoned to tell me it was there and has since paid for Special Delivery to make sure it's back with us safely.... The Waves had it all, first class room and facilities, an excellent living room with well thought out local information packs, facilities to play some old LPs, fantastic choice of breakfast, friendly owner, clean, quirky......I could go on. Why this place wasn't packed out during our stay I can't imagine. We felt sorry for those staying in the drab places... More

Just returned from a three night stay at The Waves, arriving Monday 20th May,I chose The Waves based on the rave reviews posted here on Trip Advisor well, it was everything I expected & more. Beautifully presented rooms everywhere, immaculate in every way. We stayed in room 3 at the front of the house but the street was very quiet... More

We arrived in Scarborough in the midst of a hail storm and the Information centre arranged this B&B for us for a small charge. So glad they did. A very warm welcome here. spotless rooms and every comfort one could want. Thank you for a great stay.

Very impressive all round. We stayed beginning of April for three nights for the second time and have kept the same high standards throughout. Clean, comfortable and 'warm' an understatement! Can not reccomend this B&B enough for couples, or like us, families. Breakfast menu options great for all tastes and produce, again, excellent. See you in August...

I write this review sitting in the lounge at the waves sitting next to the wonderful 70s style brown yellow and orange wallpaper. We first stayed here three years ago after finishing the Cleveland Way and liked it so much we have returned after finishing the Wolds Way. The rooms are comfortable, airy, tastefully furnished and absolutely spotlessly clean. The... More

Stayed at Waves for 3 nights in March for a break near the Yorkshire coast and plenty of sea air! Waves is well decorated and comfortable with a contemporay 60/70's theme. Lovely bedroom very comfortable and spotlessly clean. First class breakfast with great music.
