Room was OK and served the need. On a safety note the hot water as extremely hot and it took a number of attempts to turn on the very stiff cold tap. The cooked breakfast on the first morning was virtually inedible, although the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was no contact with staff to ask if everything was... more

We stayed here for three nights as part of a large group, and were staying in a motel-type annexe, which appeared to be cheaply constructed some years ago and is now in need of serious refurbishment. Our first-floor room opened onto an open walkway, and one of the steps to the ground level was damaged. Our door latch did not... more

Fancied a short break but have three dogs so a little limited asto choice. Did a search and this place came up. My wife and I were happy with the accomdation. It was comfortable clean and very reasonably priced. Didn't feel under pressure with the dogs as lots of other guests had dogs as well. I was slightly worried about... more

Was at a wedding at Ox Pasture Hall and as all their rooms were booked out, I randomly chose here as a nearby alternative. Only stayed the night and it seemed to be a nice place. Was quiet. Staff seemed friendly. We got a bedroom overlooking the front lawn. Room no 14. We were lucky to get some good weather... more

This hotel was a big disappointment from start to finish. Checking in was a shambles. The room decor was tatty and the carpet soiled. There were five 4-plug electrical extensions running over the carpets to power lamps, TV etc. The shower did not regulate to provide constant warm water and the toilet seat was broken. The public rooms were not... more

A friend of mine booked this hotel on a recommendation from somebody, we all went to meet up and go out for an evening in Scarborough. The hotel was nice, our room was in the attic and was lovely. However, there were 8 of us so we had to split up into 2 rooms, which were nowhere near each other.... more

Stayed in family room - fantastic ! Lovely clean bedding, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Delicious evening meal eaten outside on the lawn. Huge garden which our kids loved - we were able to enjoy a glass of wine whilst the kids played at Star Wars on the garden - very relaxing ! Breakfast wasn't as good as the evening meal... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere and we found the bar area/conservatory and dining areas very pleasant overlooking the large garden . We ate in the restaurant and all agreed the food was excellent, this hotel certainly has a quality chef. Our rooms were located in the annexe and were clean and comfortable,... more

We went here with apprenhension due to previous reviews, but we found a lovely hotel with excellent food and service. We had 2 evening meals which where A la Carte. Only 2 negatives the heating appeared to be a problem (there was a portable heater in our room) and the window didn't shut properly. Our room had a lovely 4... more

We went between xmas and new year to visit family in Scarboro, and we got a cheap deal through LateRooms. The staff were initially friendly and helpful, but the (so called 'superior')room was a major disappointment. On entering my wife discovered a 'floater' had been left in the toilet, there was no proper shower (handheld only) and shortly after settling... more
