This hotel was a big disappointment from start to finish. Checking in was a shambles. The room decor was tatty and the carpet soiled. Stayed in family room - fantastic ! Lovely clean bedding, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Delicious evening meal eaten outside on the lawn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere and we found the bar area/conservatory and dining areas very pleasant overlooking the large garden .
