Close to the cliffs and Italian gardens, ideal spot for a stay in this beautiful resort. The pink room is comfortable and tastefully furnished, and the tray for tea and coffee has extra treats. ( How could Barbara know of my adiction to licorice all-sorts?). Pleasant hospitality and a choice of excellent gave us a very enjoyable break.

First class! Attention to detail is outstanding. Excellent service from start to finish. The Cream room is worth staying in. Really enjoyed our visit. Breakfast was yummy. Barbra does an amazing job ensuring her guests feel welcome

Room, breakfast, bed, shower, welcome, cleanliness, location, hospitality, homemade jam, cakes and facilities all excellent ! There is also a fantastic Italian restaurant 100 yards down the street .... with excellent service and menu ... Crown House is ideally placed for attending events at the SPa theatre .....5 min walk to the SPa lift !

Great hospitality was provided by Barbara - with flexible arrival times and tea to greet us. The rooms were very stylish, modern and comfortable and the breakfast was hearty and of excellent quality. Nothing was too much trouble for Barbara.

We stayed during the Scarborough Jazz Festival weekend and, as on previous occasions, we had a wonderful time. Everything was right, from the exquisite breakfast to the tasty home made biscuits in the comfortable bedrooms. As always Barbara was welcoming and friendly. I can't praise Crown House enough.

Friendly, welcoming. Excellent breakfasts, and catered very well with allergy problems. Highly recommended, and would visit again. The Cream room is extremely large, with lots of space to accommodate the comfortable seating areas etc. without making things feel cramped.

What a fantastic B & B! Barbara's hospitality is wonderful without being in your face. The homemade brownies/oat biscuits/white chocolate chip cookies were utterly delicious.
