Myself, mu husband and our two children (age 5&2) stayed for one night, last night and it was a great experience. We booked a family room, the previous day, and were told we could call in anytime from 10am to collect our keys. When we arrived, the room wasn't ready - it needed hoovering, but we were allowed to go... More

Me and my wife stopped here one night, staff were really friendly we had a nice big room over looking park, bed linen and towels smelt lovely and fresh and clean. The bathroom could do with been updated but it was ok for one night, I didn't really enjoy the breakfast and my wife was the same. Overall it was... More

After travelling from Blackpool in terrible weather on scooters,we was greated with a very warm welcome. A very well kept and well run establishment. From arriving to leaving the standards were kept upto scratch. Spotless rooms and excellent food. Owners very pleasant and always helped out with your needs. Breakfast was piping hot and freshly cooked to order. The surrounds... More

This hotel was one of many B&Bs/hotel stays for me on the Cleveland Way trail in September 2012. I stayed on the first floor without a spectacular view and the room was small but was adequate for one person for a short stay. Peter's son was on duty and lugged my bag up for me when it arrived. Although I... More

I have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel with my husband. After reading some of the reviews we thought we were at a different hotel! Our room was on the ground floor, and was very spacious, with a good sized bathroom and shower. Plenty towels and the room cleaned every day. Hospitality tray with more than enough... More

I have just returned from a week's stay at this hotel with my two grandchildren. We also stayed in the aforementioned family room on the second floor and while we did notice the towel rail had been mended we also appreciated the number of clean towels and the frequency of changing these when we followed the instruction to leave them on... Just returned from a four night stay. Room clean, had a fantastic view of Peasholme Park. Lovely friendly staff especially the owner Peter who helped and advised us on routes to get where we wanted to go. Better to stay at north end of Scarborough as parking seemed a nightmare at the South Bay. Parking at Ryndle Court not an... More

Reading the other reviews it's obvious that expectations play a big part in how you might feel about this hotel. We found it no more than adequate and wouldn't book again. It was reminiscent of an old-fashioned seaside boarding house. It was one of a number of places we stayed while walking the Cleveland Way and unfortunately for the Ryndle... More
