This review is to do with the food (have stayed in hotel the past used to be nice really great rooms and staff, last time we stayed rooms were dirty never gone back to stay)we have just eaten in the pub the food was terrible the worse tuna melt I have ever had I think there waved the tuna over... more
We have stayed at the ivanhoe previously and always like it because its family friendly which is a most as we have 2 young children. We really love the location of the pub and its screaming with potential if only the would give the place a whole new make over,the rooms are dated and decor is terrible. The kids play... more
Located just outside Scarborough on the Whitby Rd, it is ideally placed for Scarborough, Robin Hood Bay & Whitby. We stayed 3 nights in Sept & was disappointed with the Ivanhoe as it was seriously dated & in need of a lot of money spending. There was also a cleanliness problem.Our friends had to change rooms as the shower cubicle... more
