I have stayed at the Donnington Valley for both business and pleasure. Both times have been exceptional. The service is second to non and the staff are friendly and stop at nothing to make you welcome. The food and wine, quite, simply was to die for. The pudding 'chocolate treat' was a treat indeed. we have just returned from here - and had the most amazing time.. The check in was easy and simple. Our room was large and modern. Very clean. There were also luxuries such as a seperate shower and bath (and the bath was huge!), and you could listen to music or the T,V in the bathroom through a sound system.... more

The grounds and the approach to the hotel is lovely and then..........Hotel reception was unmanned and had to go looking for someone to check me in. The reception area needed re-painting. I had booked a special offer for a 1 night spa break - accommodation, breakfast and 1 25 min treatment. On check in the staff were friendly and had upgraded our room to an executive which was lovely.
