I had a fleeting stay at the Menzies Strathmore before catching an early flight out from Luton the next morning. My single room was fairly small, but it was clean and the bathroom likewise. Okay, the positives... good location, easy to find and close to the national express buses and train station. The last point is useful as after one night in this supposed 4* hotel you'll be itching (quite literally) to leave. Describing the walls as paper-thin is doing a disservice to paper.
