Stayed here just one night. What spectacular views from the bedroom and the restaurant. The room was good clean and comfortable if a little dated. The restaurant was not five star but good. The service everywhere was excellent. The receptionist was one of the most pleasent I have ever met. more

We arrived about 8.30pm where we were promptly checked in. First impression was of a typical Yorkshire hotel very quaint. Reception staff were courteous and helpful. We stayed in room 22 which was ok. We were travelling with our 12yr old and had asked for an extra bed. It turned out to be a campbed which was probably the only... more

We recently had our civil ceremony and reception here and words cannot describe how fantastic the staff at the hotel made the event. From the start the process of organising the wedding with the hotel was simple and easy, booking accomodation for ourselves and for the guests was straight forward and having access to a key contact who organises the... more

We were given a list of local hotels to check out for our two night stay in this beautiful area. On arrival at the Pennine Manor we were first greeted by breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The hotel had that "Emmerdale" look and feel about it. The receptionist we found to be helpful and accomodating. The rooms were clean... more

Too expensive if your a family, £20 extra per bed per night. we have a 2 year old and a 3 year old. there was nothing for them to do whilst we were in the hotel. Prices at the bar for drinks were very OTT do not by shorts or you will have no money left. £3 per pint. Staff... more

Prior to our stay we had requested an early check-in so that we could change for a wedding later that day. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was particulalry rude and didn't exactly give the type of welcome I had been looking forward to after driving 6 hours. She knew nothing of our planned early arrival and... more

Booked this hotel last minute the same day we were going up to Huddersfield. Had a look on tripadvisor and saw good reviews for it and we weren't disappointed. The staff on reception were excellent, friendly and happy to accommodate a later checkout for us when we asked them upon checking in. We had previously stayed at Cedar Court Hotel... more

Have been staying at the hotel for 4 weeks on business now and will be until xmas!! Normally I would stay B&B and eat out each night but that would mean staying in some noisy town centre hotel and I like my peace and quiet which is why I chose this hotel as it is in the middle of the... more
