We have stayed at this Premier Inn a number of times whilst visiting family in the area. The Inn is great value for money, especially if you can get a room at the back which faces the river instead of the road. The title says it all-this hotel is 20 yards from the A644, which seems to be the main road into Huddersfield. Good value, stayed here for five nights, clean and comfortable bedroom and en-suite. Room amenities and location good. Do a great breakfast too (not included in the price). Good restaurant for lunch/evening meal right next door. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially Pat). Would stay here again. more

Complained in writing about filthy room such as Pubic hair on bathroom mirror, bacteria on shower, inadequate fire drill notification, mug stains on side tables. Shrug from reception, complained in writing early Feb 06, got reply from "Cusstomer Services Co-ordinator"21st Feb saying I will be contacted - nothing since then. more
