I stayed last Saturday night at the Chandos Guest House for one night in one of their single rooms. The welcome I got on arrival was nice the lady who greeted me made me feel really welcome. The room wasn't as small as a single room I've had else where. Tea/coffee tray with biscuits and a kettle in the room.... more

We were looking for good, clean, basic accommodation with parking which we could access late at night, prior to an early tunnel crossing. This is exactly what we got. We were a family of 4, we stayed at Chandos 1 night. The room was rather tight for 4 people and had 2 bunk beds, which were not very practicle. The room and bathroom were clean, only complaint was that some of the bed linen had a blood stains on it. The owner was very freindly, breakfast was very good.... more

Stayed at Chandos overnight prior to trip to France in August 2005. Only 10 minutes from Channel Tunnel. Very friendly – good, clean & smart rooms – good breakfast. Private parking. 5 minutes walk to selection of restaurants. Very good value at £45 for a room for two. more
