Just spent 7 nights at Hunter's Quay near Dunoon. We usually stay further north in Oban but wanted to try somewhere else this year - we weren't dissappointed.

Stayed in a 3 bedroomed lodge on Heathercroft - marvellous views over the Firth of Clyde - and the weather made all the difference too. Site wasnt busy because it was out of season though a lot of the lodges were occupied - each lodge set in its own space so you dont overlook anyone else too much.

The windows were also dirty with lots of little handprints and smears. The bedrooms, although small were clean and plenty of storage. The park itself was clean and the view over the loch was beautiful. Entertainment in the park was virutally non existent. A taxi ride into Dunoon cost around £7 but be warned after 10pm the fare goes up. We did meet Susan a lovely taxi driver who offered to return us to the park after 10pm... more
