The Craigieburn Guest House is a fantastic and value for money B&B. The room was spotless and the shared bathrooms were lovely and clean too. The owners of the B&B were so warm and welcoming and they go the extra mile to make the stay there pleasurable. They were more than happy to help with all enquiries and share their... More

Everything was fantastic and the Guest House could not be faulted in any way. The owners were more than happy to help with enquiries and were accommodating in every way. When asked if we could leave a later time, even though the room was booked, they were kind enough to do their best in this case. Whereas other B&Bs would... More

I stayed two nights with my wife, we were made very welcome by the owners who told us all about what to do in the area. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a quiet night's sleep and woke up to a panoramic view. Finally, we had a generous and delicious breakfast. We'll be back !

I did stay for two nights in Dunoon. The Dutch owners were very friendly and helpful. Good clean guest house and I sleep very well in a comfortable bed. Good room (there are no ensuite ones) with sea-view. Also cereals and a tastful Scottish breakfast were available.

Just had a delightful three day stay in Dunoon. Part of the pleasure was staying at this lovely guest house. Hosts, Tjapko and Hennie put you at ease from the outset and you feel truly welcomed into their home. As hosts, their light touch is perfect, giving you as much space or contact that is right for you. Their full... More

This place is a 2* B&B and you should expect just that. It's a bit scuffy in its decor, but if you can get over that it's spotlessly clean and the hosts are welcoming. It's not ensuite, but there is a sink in the rooms. The views are good and there's parking. The comment from the previous poster about the... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We always apreciate an hones review. With regards to the smell of smoke we've decided to make the Craigieburn a non smoking accomodation. Even our regular "smoking guests" are pleased with this decision More

I stayed at the Craigieburn for three nights as I was in Dunoon on business. First of all, nothing is too much trouble for Tjapko and Hennie who are great but non-intrusive hosts. They left me alone, but where there when I wanted my breakfast, a chat or just to pay my bill. There is nothing worse than feeling you... More

I stayed at the Cragieburn for three nights as I traveled around Scotland. I contacted Tjapko the day before I was to check in to tell him I would not be back in town before midnight, and to ask him if he could leave the key somewhere where I could find it when I got in. He gave me the... More

We stayed here for three nights at Christmas 2011 as we were visiting relatives in Dunoon. The location was great, our room at the first floor was very spacious and clean and the large window was overlooking the sea, very very nice!! The toilets were very clean and warm (we have a 14 months baby and that was important for... More
