We made a short notice family booking and found this hotel was just what we needed. The room was light, clean and comfortable and the owner and his wife were charming, engaging and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We'll be coming back.

This could be a gem of a place with the right owner and a bit of investment. Lovely views of the river which are spectacular. I note it is now up for sale so let's hope whoever buys it does it some justice.
