A disappointing stay at this guest house. We booked an en-suite room but instead were given a double with a private bathroom down the hall. No bathrobes were provided to get between room and bathroom (which also had no shower gels etc). We complained the first morning there and one bathrobe appeared in the room. Disappointed with the room quality compared to other B&B's in Buxton, especially for the price - over £70 for a single. No extra's in the bathroom - no shampoo or shower gel. Hairdryer only on request. Breakfast very plain and served from 9am which was too late for me. Good points - quiet and on-site car parking. more

My daughter and I stayed at the Lakenham Guest House for 10 days during the 2005 Gilbert & Sullivan Festival.
