A very good guest house, comfortable beds in every room with immaculately clean bedding. Good electric showers in the ensuite bathroom. Very good breakfast with a good choice, freshly cooked to order.

Spent two nights here whilst away with work, very centrally located. Received a friendly welcome & the room was very clean, no thrills but more than adequate (wifi available). Excellent breakfast, cereals, full English, toast, juices, tea / coffee etc.

I was working in Banbury in June and visited Avonlea Guest House. Set back off the main road with its own car park outside made it very easy to find. Spotless en-suite, with good-sized hot shower. Nice large supportive bed, so bedroom a little cramped but plenty of clothes storage. Green trees across the fairly busy road. Typical good cooked breakfast, with fresh ingredients. Only suggestion would be to have wholemeal toast as a choice. Friendly & helpful proprietor & staff.
