Stayed at The Deddington Arms for just one night, relieved it was no longer. Reception and bar staff were pleasant and quite efficient. The bar was cosy with a fair choice of beers. Deddington is a nice little town, well worth a visit. That was the good bit - Room was tired , carpet marked, bedside lamp fitting loose, chair stained. Breakfast, when we... more

Booked the Deddington Arms for a w/e getaway with an old school friend. Hotel is centrally located in the charming village of Deddington. This large village has some interesting and attractive buildings (we printed a nice walk from the internet), a few restaurants, pubs and small independent shops. We booked an 'executive' twin and were disappointed. I viewed a non-executive... more

The hotel is very welcoming, staff very friendly. The restaurant is very pleasant surroundings with exceptional serving staff, headed by Claire, everything they do comes with a smile. Food was first class. On the whole we had a very enjoyable time more

I was apprehensive after reading other reviews but we have just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this hotel. The room, although not huge, was comfortable and lovely and cosy. We tried a lunchtime meal to check out the food and it was tasty and well presented so had no worries booking an evening meal. We were thankful we had as... more

We spent the August bank holiday weekend at the hotel. The overall experience was disappointing. Especially when considering value for money, the hotel did not live up to standards one would expect for that price level. During our stay we felt that thehotel was being run for cash only by a distant manager who feels he/ she does not need... more

When I first contacted the hotel by phone to make the booking, I was quoted a much higher price than I could see online. I mentioned I was a guest at an event for which the organiser had block-booked some rooms, and was told this was the rate the hotel were charging for the block booking! I got the same... more

Stayed here on business in Feb, the rooms are ok but a bit overpriced, however the food at the resturants was simply EXCELLENT. If visiting this area I would recommend this resturant and would say it is some of the best food I have eaten more

The hotel was not bad, we had a fairly nice split level room. We tried to have a drink in the bar, but the TV was tuned into sport and was far too lud for comfort. We retired to the restaurant, which was very well furnished and gave us high hopes of a good meal. My partner's meal was ok,... more

Had a lovely time at this hotel, was a bit worried after reading others reviews but our experience was great. The room was lovely, big bed, executive double room. The food was gorgeous, the staff friendly and helpful. Dinner, bed and breakfast for one night all inclusive was £109 for us both on their own website, what a bargain, will... more
