I was extremely disappointed with the poor service at this hotel. I received no welcome from Reception. I was checked in cursorily and when I deferred making a reservation for an evening meal I was summarily dismissed with a snap. Check out was no better. Perhaps it was the old faviourite - single female traveller gets substandard treatment. On a... more

We stayed here for 2 nights. One night on the way to Euro Disney and one night on the way back, the hotel is only 10 minutes from the train station. The room was lovely and big with 2 double beds and a really large bathroom. The only complaint I did have was the room smelled of cigarette smoke, but... more

I stayed here earlier this year and was impressed by the entire hotel. the company I work for have started dealing with a few businesses in kent. My work evolves plenty of motorways, early hours so a relaxing functional hotel is what I need. I was only using the hotel as a change from travelodges and found a good room... more

Stayed here for an overnight spa break. All the staff here were friendly and efficient. Recently refurbished, very bright and modern. I agree that the rooms are slightly too dark. Dinner in the horizon restaurant was excellent - faultless actually! (I'm very fussy!) Great selection at breakfast - they even extended the breakfast time as the clocks went forward an... more

We stayed here for 1 night prior to getting a channel ferry the next morning. The rooms are a good size , and well furnished. We also had dinner in the hotel - which was good. The bed/breakfast rate at £84 for 2 persons was reasonable. The breakfast , served from 07.00 was very good. Good car parking facilities -... more

I think that this hotel has just recently been refurbished...? The rooms have been decorated in modern, warm colours and are beautiful ! The bathroom looked all very new too with modern tiles and fittings. Wonderfully powerful shower, plenty of hot water. Very clean. Tea and coffee making facillities and a flat screen TV. Plenty of towels and hanging space.... more

My friend and I stayed here on a spa package break. We were very impressed with the hotel and spa facilities and it was great value for money. The hotel is very modern and stylish inside. It felt comfortable and had a relaxed atmosphere. The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and had good facilities. However, it was very noisy... more

Had a one night stay with my wife for a charity event and were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the room with its contemporarty design. The staff were pleasant .but mostly foreign with only a small grasp of English which meant that most ofthe drinks orders were eronious and any real issues had to be escalated to somebody with... more
