I have stayed at the Wife of Bath twice in the space of a few weeks. On both occassions the staff have been very friendly and helpful, the food excellent, and the room clean and comfortable. At less than £100 for dinner bed and breakfast it is great value as well. The Wife of Bath makes an excellent alternative to... more

Spent one night at this delightful village hotel. Staff are very friendly and professional. Rooms have a homely cottage feel. Food as good as any top notch London restaurant. A great stop off if travelling on to France as we did. more

The service was friendly and professional; the food was outstanding and combined freshness, quality and just the right amount to leave one satisfied without being excessive. Then a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed rounded off a tremendous day to be followed in the morning by a superb... more
