All these enthusiastic reviews are well-deserved; we've been lucky with many B & Bs and this is one of the two very best we've stayed in - welcome, room, breakfast (with quality coffee), parking, location all just what you hope to find. (Where's the other one? Bure Lodge in Christchurch) More

An immaculately presented guest house inside and out. Our double room was elegantly furnished and beautifully clean; the en suite gleemed. We we were welcomed with a pot of fresh coffee and a minature cake and biscuit selection which was wonderfully presented. The bed was large and comfortable and the room had everything in it that any reasonably thinking guest... More

The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was also first class with plenty of space, a heated towel rail and a very roomy walk-in shower with two shower heads and rubber mat, all very convenient. especially for elderly... Stayed 3 nights in late September. We had the Premier Room, which was lovely and spacious. The owners, Linda and Marc, were great, and really made us feel welcome, which was really appreciated after a long, tiring drive. Shortly after we arrived, Linda brought to our room a beautifully presented tray of tea and little cupcakes, which was a really... More

Spend one night here in June for my parents golden wedding anniversary. Shortly after arriving the owners provided us with tea, coffee, biscuits and some mini-cakes – all lovely. Stayed in room 3 that was a lovely size, with nice high ceilings. The property is only a short walk by the sea (we enjoyed a nice long walk along the... More
