Its worse than it looks from the busy, noisy ring road its un-curtained, single glazed, cold filthy rooms oversee with further views of sunny Wolverhampton only... more

Recently had the grave misfortune of booking a room here for an overnight stay. The place was not that inviting - had to walk through a pub full of 'blokes' shouting at the football on the TV. The stairs up to the reception were filthy, man on reception didn't care, lock on the room door was defective. Room was damp,... more

We arrived at the Fox Hotel and pulled into the carpark, from the minute we st eyes on the place we thought 'this doesn't look good' , spent a few minutes in the car deciding whether to even bother going in. the only reason we went in was that I'd booked online and didn't want to lose my money and... more

This place IS hell. It needs knocking down, but does have it's charms. It's like going back to the 70s, nothing has been touched in years. I'll list the pros and cons Cons The sheets had tea stains and mug rings on them Paint splashed on floors and blinds blinds incomplete so sun shines in stains all over 'headboard' and... more

When I arrived I was offered a room without a key, I declined. The room was cramped and the bedsheets had not been changed. The bathroom had not been cleaned and the toilet and seat were covered in urine. The bedside table had cigarette burns. The noise from the roundabout was load and the walls were paper thin so I... more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not be fooled by the relatively competitive pricing, whatever is charged is borderline fraud! Rooms are dirty and smelly, Lounge is full of Wolverhamptons finest alcoholics, irrespective of whether its 5pm or 9am they will be there, largely eyeing up your woman if you are stupid enough to take a partner (as i was!!) I/we have... more
