The room was lovely-very clean and comfortable, the bath room fully equipped. Breakfast was scrumptious (I had a full English). Excellent value for money. Location was great-pubs and restaurants are within walking distance and the staff were efficient and helpful. I will definitely use this hotel again.

I booked late and was given room 15 - one of the 'still to be refurbished rooms'. The room was tiny and the ensuite shower had mould in much of the grouting. A pleasant enough hotel, the bedroom had recently been refurbished, was a bit cold and the bathroom floor colder. Breakfast was a solo plate, one sausage, one bacon, one egg, one tomato etc nice black pudding. Easy walking into the town center and a decent enough real ale pub opposite.
