The car park was clean and very spacious with enough spaces for the three cars within our party. The reception staff were friendly fast and efficient, they gave us extra pillows and booked us a table at the restaurant. The evening meal was delicious in comfortable surroundings and again pleasant staff! The only problem we had with our stay was... more

At £39 for one night, I wasn't too worried about what the standard would be like since it is a chain. However, this was my first time in a Holiday Inn Express and it was a very pleasant experience. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was very large and the ensuite amazing. Everything very clean. Great... more

If you're looking for a good deal in Warrington, then this seems to be the place to be. Be aware though that it's in the middle of nowhere - if you don't have a car, then you either eat terrible food in the Tony Carvery "restaurant" next door, or take taxis to better restaurants, downtown. Good things about this hotel:... more

Stayed here at the end of June. A typical HIE, a formula it's almost impossible to get wrong and this one doesn't. The rooms were standard, clean and appeared tro have been renovated relatively recently. Breakfasts are fine for those who don't demand fried food and the Toby Carvery next door serves the typical British cuisine , I always choose... more

Excellent value for money (£39 per room inc breakfast). Not a f ull service hotel by any means but the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the double bed (not King Size) was very comfortable. A good buffet breakfast with plenty of cereals, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt, etc. Located just off a busy main road the room... more

Off the main road, a little difficult to find. A fairly new Express by Holiday Inn, is clean and tidy. The room was in good order and there was nothing missing or broken, heating and ventilation worked well. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and for the right price would recommend. The Toby Pub/Restaurant next door offers exceptionally good... more

This is a typical HIE....in other words it's clean, the rooms are large and the facilities easy to use and perfectly adequate. Ideal for business use, reasonable Toby pub next door which does good value food and works closely with the hotel. I always use HIE when I'm away on business and have not found a bad one yet. Staff... more

I stayed here in July 2007. The hotel is good value for money. It is clean and modern. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It is positioned in a good location outside Warrington and with easy access to the motorway. For the money I cannot fault it at all. However apart from the pub next door... more

Stayed as a stopover from Minehead, Somerset to Scotland. Excellent value (£39 per room per night, for 2 ads & 2 children). Usually a Travelodger, but this was same price so thought we'd try a change. Wow!! Room had Double bed, double sofa bed (already made up) and cot as well, and there was plenty of room. Hotel spotless and... more

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom looked nice but had a drainy smell which wasn't pleasant! Compared with similar priced hotels, this was good value for money. Would stay again. more
