Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the best holiday park in the area by far. We have been going to this place for many years and each time we have it’s been excellent. The staff are amazing, constantly welcoming newcomers and helping around the site- the food is great and the actual caravans and other places to stay are great quality and a decent size for a family. The location is legendary, one of the nicest places I’ve ever been. The restaurant is a lovely place to eat in and all aspects of the amenities around the site such as the showers and toilets are brilliant and cleaned regularly. There is a playground in the middle of the site for kids to enjoy with multiple activities to do such as a Wendy’s house, swings and climbing frame which is safe and secure and quite visible. All in all this is a great holiday park for any trip if you’re in the area of Dartmoor.

Lovely campsite, with great facilities, we stayed overnight prior to a running event. The staff were amazing, helpful, kind and super friendly. And we had croissants from the site bakery for breakfast that kept us going beautifully on our run. Lots to explore nearby on the moor. Will hope to return

We had an excellent stay with our two Labrador pups. So glad we discovered Langstone Manor. Everything is spotless and feels like home from home. Loved everything about it. Staff were friendly and helpful. We’ve booked for next March when it reopens. Pity it’s seasonal as we would visit during the winter months.

The glamping pod was lovely with underfloor heating! That was a nice surprise. And the site was great, small but with everything you could need. The restaurant had a good menu choice and the meal was very nice. The site was very clean and well maintained. We met a lovely lady at reception who even walked us to our pod and explained everything you need to know, very personal service and extremely friendly staff. Just a short drive from the town and just a short walk and you are on Dartmoor I look forward to going back

Just returned from Langstone Manor, we stayed in the dog friendly glamping pods and the staff made sure we were accommodated next to our friends who we were holidaying with. First night we used the restaurant which was absolutely delicious. The pods come with a heater inside so was nice and toasty, communal showers and toilets were extremely clean. Drinking water just outside the pod. Our friends used the private bathroom to bathe their baby which was ideal, this just requires a few pounds to put help towards the hot water. Freshly baked croissants, pain au choc and baguettes available to order up to 9pm for the next morning. Beautiful location, lovely and quiet. Tavistock town nearby is absolutely beautiful and only about a 10 minute drive away. We are already looking to book again for next year.

Langston manor is a place of retreat & perfect for rest & relaxation. It's a small pretty park surrounded by fields & Dartmoor. We stayed in a caravan & have stayed many times in various caravans on the site. This time, our caravan was lovely & clean but the toilet smelt terrible the whole time we were there. It smelled like a mens urinal & I had to buy toilet freshener. We think there is a drainage problem in this particular caravan as the shower tray also filled to the top of the tray with water. The basins were also very slow to drain. Apart from that though the caravan was warm & comfortable.

The mega pods have just enough room in them. They are very comfortable and very clean. Shower and toilet facilities was also very clean. Staff are amazing, check in very easy. There is a lovely restaurant on site which also does take away meals.

Had a lovely overnight stay in one of the glamping pods. Site is very tidy and well maintained with great facilities. Restaurant on site, which looked good but we didn’t get chance to eat there. Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much trouble Location is perfect for long walks on the moors We will be back but for a longer stay next time!

We have just spent a really wonderful week at Langston Manor Holiday Park. The caravan was really clean and had everything we needed. The park was very clean and maintained every day. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal in the site restaurant and had planned to have another meal there but didn’t manage it. It’s dog friendly as well. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Small, quiet & peaceful site, in a beautiful setting. Our first experience of 'pod' camping...warm, dry & cosy! Facilities were close by and spotless. Staff friendly and helpful. I would love to stay here again.
