My wife and I recently stayed at Waverley B&B and had a great time. I have not stayed in a B&B for many years so was not sure what to expect..... but i'm pleased to say Waverley B&B far exceeded our expectations. The room itself was very big, we had a seperate hallway area leading to a large bathroom. The... More

We stayed in room 5 they did leave a heater but this was not required as the weather was fab. Bedroom downstairs so not a lot of light but this room is large bed very comfy and everything... More

Stayed for 2 nights on a bank holiday/half term weekend in room 5 which is fine but on the lower ground so no view - we couldn't even see when it was pouring with rain but not a major problem. Comfortable large bed, excellent shower - the only small gripe was that the room was cold at times and the... More

I never normally stay at b&b's so maybe I didn't have the right expectations. But; arrived at 10pm, heating not on so room cold. Family room is a nice set up in terms of bed room, hall and large bathroom. But; bedroom has large double bed and a single bed. 4th bed is a z bed and will not really... More

Stayed three nights in April...enjoyed the run of the three-bedroomed self-contained second floor with two v large bedrooms and ensuite plus a smaller twin also with ensuite, I think. Comfy, very spacious and attractively decorated sitting room kitchen again tastefully furnished. You sit around a large table in the main house for breakfast....cereals, juices, choice of cooked breakfasts. All in... More

The room was beatifully decorated, clean and breakfast was delicious, but.... The two chairs in the room were impossilbe to sit, as the spring(I think) of both chairs were too noticealbe. The balthroom was small, which is not a problem, but if there was a hook on the door, at least the guest could hung the towel or cloths when... More

Myself and my partner stayed here in the summer. Everything about the b&b was perfect and Pauline was a great host. It was such a pleasant stay that we are looking forward to going back asap. Breakfast was brilliant and the b&b was beautiful. Pauline gave us tips on places to visit and we had a truly brilliant stay. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2012 for a wedding. The room was clean, and comfortable, although the bed was a little hard for my taste, but that's a personal thing. The bathroom was spotless, the shower was powerful and refreshing, which was nice! We had hanging wardrobe space, a decent sized flat screen TV (although we were... More

I cannot fault my stay. Comfortable clean good sized room and ''having tried all the meals on the menu'' fantastic breakfasts. Pauline could not have been a better host, doing all she could to make my stay truly memorable. I will return to Waverley as soon as I can find an excuse to revisit Salcombe.

My room was right at the top on the second floor accessible by an outside staircase. To get to breakfast I had to come down the staircase and into the front door - a little odd. Judging by other reviews I was probably unlucky with my room. As another reviewer found, the UHT milk in a carton in the room... More

I am saddened that the gentleman found short comings with my accommodation. I have considered his points carefully with a view to implementing improvements where possible to do so. However taking each point raised in turn I am at a loss. He was a single walker whom I accommodated in an en-suite double bedroom housing a king sized bed with... More
