I was here for a weekend. No real complaints about it - bathroom v. good, my single had a double bed in, more than enough storage etc. It was a bit bland - so fine if you were there on business or for a short stay but you'd want more if staying longer, and more facilities. More

As mentioned, bathrooms are looking a bit worn and could do with a makeover, but the owner is friendly and knowlegeable, good location, good price for an independent hotel. Has wired, free internet, they ought to mention this. Excellent breakfasts cooked to order. More

The hotel is opposite the council buildings in an ideal location. the car park is around the back,be sure to pull into the narrow road that leads up to the rear of the hotel, not into the pay and display next to it. Quiet hotel in a great location. Ideal for local attractions such as Rutland Water. Rooms are clean and comfortable with recent modernisations including flat screen HD televisions and freesat channels. Very friendly and helpful staff.
