Nice place for the day - good conference facilities, nice little meeting area Lunch - standard buffett Rooms - possibly the worst hotel room I've been in that wasn't a Backpackers, and certainly not up to a De Vere brand!! Rooms are so small that the bed is a mini version of a double. You can only get out on... more

arrived late pm on friday.had difficulty finding it as it looks like a 1970's comprehensive school from outside and in the middle of a housing estate! nothing like the photos on the web site. all the de vere signs were covered up by hand painted notices for a car boot sale in august! on arrival the receptionist was very friendly... more

Good hotel for parking, reception is nice/functional for conference/meeting/hotel until you get to the rooms! i stayed on the second floor. The carpets were stained and filthy, the bed is tiny and not the most comfortable- at 6'3 tall diagonal sleeping is the only way and even then feet hang out. There isn't alot of room to move around. The... more

I booked this hotel on the internet, as a friend of mine had recently stayed in a different de vere and raved about it. Internet prices were £10 for Friday night and £29 for saturday night. The rooms were advertised as single but we rang them and they said it was ok for a couple but that the rooms were... more

We booked 3 singles knowing full well that it was a conference venue with rooms rather than a standard hotel and they cost just £10 each. No problems with the parking or check-in and we had the TV in the bar to ourselves to watch the football match we wanted to see. The rooms were on the 2nd floor and... more

Arrived at this bizarre hotel which was kitted out in cheap flooring and cheap furniture. The room was tiny with the bed pushed up against the wall and the window and the worst thing was it was infested with beetles. Beetles in the bed. Beetles all over my clothes in the morning when i woke up. I complained to the... more

This De Vere hotel is not like the normal usual top quality De Vere hotels. It is a horrible place in the middle of a housing estate. This 1970's office block has the smallest double rooms you have ever seen. There are ants in the rooms and in my collegues rooms. The staff are very rude in particular Debbie in... more

Just stayed here with family and it was a great hotel in a good location for the things we wanted to do. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and for the most part helpful. The breakfast was okay and any problems with the rooms were very soon rectified. However on two occasions we were actually ignored... more

This review is for a two night stay on arriving Good Friday and leaving Easter Sunday 2009. I had no problem finding the hotel. The first vehicle "entrace" turned out to be clearly an exit only, with the proper entrance a short distance round one corner. I did see one "guest" drive right up to the exit barrier, but there's... more

I have used a number of DeVere Hotels and Venues for both business and pleasure purposes. Over the years I have come to expect a certain standard from that organisation and have rarely been disappointed. I had an appointment in Milton Keynes at 8PM on Friday 6 March 2009 and my family wanted a day shopping in the shopping centre.... more
